AMSCA Family Grant Program
The Army Medical Specialist Corp Association was honored to present three $500.00 Education Grants this year. We had outstanding applicants, and each one was very impressive and deserving of this year’s grant.
Gabriella Trevino was recommended by her mother, Amy Trevino, LTC USA (Ret). Gabriella is seeking a bachelor’s in Film, Media, and Asian Studies with the goal of a master’s and a PhD. She has been accepted to Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea for the fall of 2021. We wish her great success in all her educational and life adventures.
Samuel Joshua Clark was recommended by his father Terry Lee Clark, COL, SP, USAR. Samuel’s goal is to complete a bachelor of science in Computer Science and continue for a master’s degree in Hospital Administration, working as a hospital systems officer. He works in the summer to earn money for his college expenses and has already developed a com- puter based Minecraft server while in high school. His work ethic and determination made it easy to select this highly motivated young man. He will surely use his grant to further his journey to success.
Julie Mitchell was recommended by her father, Joe W. Brandenburg, COL, USA Retired. Julie is a Clinical Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Charlotte, NC and is a mother of four active children. Her educational goal is to acquire a master’s degree in Nursing Lead- ership. Her tenacity and hard work are well demonstrated, and she will surely take ad- vantage of this grant to advance to the highest levels of nursing administration leadership.
