Flights:   Schedule soon, June is a busy travel month to the Pacific Northwest The closest airport is Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEATAC).  This airport is about 22 miles from Tacoma so you will also need to book an Airport shuttle (https://premierairportshuttle.com/reservations/), taxi or a ride sharing service like Uber or Lyft.   If using the Premier Airport Shuttle (link above), be sure to pre-schedule for the best rate.

Public Transport Bus Option: Take the Sound Transit Express from SeaTac Terminal Bay 2, taking the #574, Lakewood Via Federal Way and exiting at 26th Street E & D Street.  The bus takes about 1 hour, cash faire of $1 for seniors and $3.25 for adults, exact change (no change made).  Link for more info:  https://www.soundtransit.org/ Then either walk the 0.8 miles (20 minutes) to the Conference Hotel or call a taxi/Uber/Lyft for this short distance.

Another option if making travel plans would be to fly into Portland OR, rent a car and drive the 145 miles north to Tacoma, catching some Washington State sights (i.e.: Mt St Helens) along the way.

Average June Weather in Tacoma WA:  Highs of 71 degrees and lows of 54 degrees with the possibility of rain (up to 5 days, sometimes in June).  We suggest bringing clothing layers and pack an umbrella.
